Über mich

Hallo allerseits! 🙂 

Ich bin Michi (sie/ihr), eine weltoffene und kommunikative Wahltirolerin mit oberösterreichischen Wurzeln. Derzeit studiere ich an der Uni Innsbruck im Master Konferenzdolmetschen mit den Sprachen Englisch und Französisch.

Schon als Kind war ich fasziniert von Sprachen, (internationaler) Kommunikation und zwischenmenschlichen Beziehungen. Als Studentin der Translationswissenschaft habe ich es mir nun zur Aufgabe gemacht, nicht nur zwischen Sprachen und Kulturen, sondern an erster Stelle zwischen Menschen zu vermitteln. Auch als Trainerin stehen für mich stets die Menschen im Fokus. Seminare leite ich mit viel Empathie, Enthusiasmus und Gefühl für die Gruppe.

Neben meiner Leidenschaft für Sprachen besitze ich einen starken Gerechtigkeitssinn, der meinen Werdegang sehr geprägt hat. Seit 2021 engagiere ich mich in verschiedenen Vertretungsebenen der ÖH (Studienvertretung, Fakultätsvertretung und Universitätsvertretung), weshalb ich mit den Strukturen vertraut bin und auch in den Genuss kam, an zahlreichen gut organisierten und moderierten Seminarwochenenden teilzunehmen, die mich wiederum für meine eigene Tätigkeit als Trainerin inspiriert haben.

2022 habe ich den Tutoriumstrainer_innenlehrgang der ÖH absolviert, der unter anderem folgende Themen umfasste: Konfliktmanagement, Moderation und Kommunikation, Gender and Diversity, Antirassismus und Zivilcourage, Supervision, Trainings im digitalen Raum, Teambuilding.

Hello there! 🙂 

I’m Michi (she/her), an open-minded and communicative Upper Austrian who moved to Tyrol a few years ago. I am currently studying Conference Interpreting with the languages German, English and French at the University of Innsbruck.

Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by languages, (international) communication and interpersonal relationships. As a translation student, I have made it my mission to mediate not only between languages and cultures, but first and foremost between people. As a facilitator, too, my focus is always on the people. I facilitate seminars with a lot of empathy, enthusiasm and a feel for the group.

In addition to my passion for languages, I have a strong sense of justice, which has greatly shaped my life so far. Since 2021, I have been involved in various representation levels of the Austrian Student Union (ÖH), which is why I am familiar with the different structures. I have also had the pleasure of participating in numerous well-organised seminar weekends, which in turn have inspired my own work as a facilitator.

Moreover, I completed the TTL 2022, a course for future facilitators organised by the ÖH, which included the following topics: conflict management, moderation and communication, gender and diversity, anti-racism and civil courage, supervision, digital training, team building.
